Alan's career began in the 1970s where he learned auto mechanics from his father. Alan has a wealth of experience from his past education and professions. He has worked with the networking system in an insurance company and has also been a Change Coordinator in service management, but perhaps what's most interesting about Alan is that he has had many different roles in his life. He has worked as a school bus driver, taxi cab driver, network and server manager and what's most unique is that he has worked in a machine shop making parts for antique tractors. Alan moved to Carolina Preserve in 2021 to be closer to his youngest daughter and her husband. Alan is a dedicated TIP volunteer working as a helper in both technology and as a handyman. He is also the ITC Chairman and keeps busy engaged in the many aspects of resident living.
