Ann Marie Dlott

Ann Marie Dlott
Secretary

Helping seems to be have been a theme in Ann Marie Dlott's life. Ann Marie received her B.A. in Education from Boston College and her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley College. For over 25 years, she had the opportunity to pioneer the role of K-12 Technology Integration Specialist in Massachusetts Public Schools. What she enjoyed most about her job was twofold. When working with students, it was the idea of helping to spark the creativity and passion for learning that exists within each child. When working with educators, it was helping them to understand how technology could enhance the curriculum. What led Ann Marie to join TIP in 2019 was the idea of a community coming together to assist those in need.  Ann Marie is currently serving as Secretary on the TIP Board of Directors. She hopes to instill that same helping passion in her grandchildren.

Member-at-Large

I have been a resident at Carolina Preserve since 2007. In 2023, I joined the TIP Board of Directors. I am an active member of the IT Committee, supporting CP residence data, phone and tv issues, as well as a Club Leader for the Poker Club. Before coming to NC, I was Director for a National telecommunication company covering many states, responsible for the installation/repair for business and residents' phone and data communications along with multiple dispatch support centers. Moving to NC, I managed National data installation and customer service center. I really enjoy the active lifestyle of our community and helping our residents understand the new technology we have available to us today.
